It is exciting to be able to participate in your unique jewelry experience. The whole design process starts out with an idea. It can be a piece that you envision or a design that I come up with to fit your style and express your personality. Every piece is unique to the individual and thus has to be perfect for the person who will wear it. The design phase may take several revisions until the right one jumps off the paper and grabs you. The stone selection is next after the design is settled upon. You may already have a favorite stone in mind or need suggestions of different stones to try. I have many sources to locate the perfect size, cut and color of stone for your custom jewelry. There are many quality stones available, we can look at several options together. The creation of the wax mold is the next step in producing your custom design. After carving the wax to the appropriate dimensions, the design can now be visualized as a piece of jewelry versus a sketch. We can temporarily place the selected stones into the wax mold to get the general effect of how the finished piece will look. Casting the wax mold into gold or platinum puts your design one step closer to completion. Once the metal is cast, the stones are precisely set before the final polishing takes place.
